Push ups: Push ups are one of the awesome upper body exercises that help in building a sound fitness foundation. Push ups improve the range of motion in the upper body and overall upper body strength. They are important to a fitness regimen for developing general body strength,and core body strength.Doing Push ups will help to avoid back injuries and will also throw in a good posture.

Squats: Basic squats are excellent for the butt, hips, thighs and calves but they can get a little boring over time, especially if you need to add a little intensity. There are a many ways to do squats. For example: The front squat, back squat, and lots more. All these can be done at your home very easily. These squats will strengthen every muscle in the lower body.

Step Ups: Step Ups are one of those exercises that seem to be a good idea, but you're not sure of doing anything. Do not worry; the whole trick is to make sure you're stepping up onto a platform that's high enough to really activate those muscle fibers, one that's about 10 to 15 inches higher than the ground. The step-up is a great exercise for all the leg muscles, although it is often overlooked in favor of the squat.

Uphill sprints: Uphill sprints increase your strength, speed and stamina. It triples your cardiovascular endurance, it obliterates excess fat from your body, it builds supreme strength, speed and kick starts your metabolism restoring your energy.

Bodyweight exercises are designed to develop strength without the use of free weights or any equipment. So, if you want to truly be fit, you need to improve all the physical abilities of fitness. Bodyweight training for fitness should be a part of everyone's physical training program because when you are truly fit, you'll not only meet the challenges of sport, work and life with excellence, you'll look great too!
